The Sphere-It of St. Augustine COVID-19 Virtual Resilience Run

St Augustine, FL

The Sphere-It of Saint Augustine
COVID-19 Resilience Run
May 1 - June 14, 2020

Sphere (FL MM19522) is a homeopathic based healing studio and gallery in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, FL. Founded 13+ years ago by a mother and daughter team, (Sandy and Heather) happily serving our community as healers, massage therapists, herbalists and artists.

The COVID-19 Stay at Home Order and mandatory closure of businesses is having a huge financial impact for Sphere.  Due to Sphere being a healing business that relies on physical touch, and their commitment to the utmost safety for their clients, it is nearly impossible to project the end of this closure, despite when other retail businesses will open. We needed a way to help Sphere survive.

This is why we RUN!  As Heather, the owner of Sphere stated, "Let's get outside, push our bodies, breathe deeply, nourish and connect with the Earth!"  Join the community of Saint Augustine and beyond to come together, and participate in The "Sphere-It" of Saint Augustine COVID-19 Resilience Run, creating a community connection and global synergy to heal the world as Sphere heals one individual at a time.

"It would be a tragedy for the community to lose this unique and iconic business that has been woven into the fabric of the 'Ancient City.' Sphere represents the city's individual character that boasts small independent proprietors, reflecting the beliefs and values that are inherent to the 'small town' feel, while also attracting international travelers with their warm and personal touch." -- Sally & Mary O'Donoghue

The Faces of Sphere

Heather Eggleston, Licensed Massage Therapist (FL MA49735)
Heather is a licensed massage therapist with certifications in aromatherapy, herbalism, and nutrition.  She is a certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, and a classically trained homeopathic consultant. Her goal is to facilitate lasting healing by supporting the vital force through deep pattern shifts.  As a Reiki master for 15+ years, she works with students on how to live more authentically.

Sandy Sleppy, RN
Sandy spent her entire adult life as a nurse, much of it as a child/adolescent psychology nurse at Johns Hopkins. Now she meets, greets, and talks with our guests at Sphere. She’s a Reiki master, healing touch practitioner, certified aromatherapist and co-founder of Sphere.

Adam C. McAlmont, Licensed Massage Therapist (FL MA71121)
Adam has long been a believer in natural health philosophies and techniques. Core to his approach as a massage therapist is a philosophy of service recognizing that when a massage is given, a sacred space is created for a client to experience deep relaxation and healing. Within this space, both subtle and deep work are applied intuitively in accordance with the needs of the client. He graduated with honors in the massage therapy program at First Coast Technical College in his chosen home of St. Augustine, Florida.
